Unlocking Joker is very easy and you can buy him after completing the tutorial for 6000 Fighter Currency or 1250 Gleamium. He is the only character in the whole roster who costs more than the others at the time of writing this guide. For free-to-play players, buying him using Fighter Currency is the ideal option as you can earn it by playing the game. Some of the ways that you can earn them include:

  • Completing Events
  • Doing Missions
  • Playing Rifts Mode
  • From Battle Pass Rewards
  • Account Mastery
  • Completing Character Mastery

As for Gleamium, this is the game’s premium currency. You can mainly get this by directly purchasing them using real money or you can buy the Battle Pass and progress its tiers to claim them as rewards. As for a free method, the game main occasionally have Events that give you Gleamium.

After you have enough of them here is what you do:

  1. Go to the Fighters tab in MultiVersus.
  2. Next, click on Joker. You can see the entire roster here.
  3. Now, click on Purchase Fighter.
  4. Finally, you will be able to purchase it with either currency of your choice.

That’s all you need to do to get Joker in MultiVersus. Speaking of free characters don’t forget to check out how you can get Banana Guard from Adventure Time and Agent Smith from The Matrix. As for help on other similar topics here is how to use Prestige Points.
