MultiVersus: How To Get Agent Smith

Published Date :

Agent Smith in Multiversus is the latest addition to the roster that no one expected to see this early. A couple of weeks ago, it was only a rumor that this antagonist from the Matrix Franchise would be added with new DLC packs. However, players can now unlock this character for free by simply completing a Rift Event. Along with this character, this event is also a new addition in Multiversus. So to learn about the Rift Event and how to unlock Agent Smith, here’s a guide for you.

How to Unlock Agent Smith in Multiversus

Players can unlock Agent Smith by earning 20 points in the “Beat Rifts, Get Agent Smith Free!” event. In this event, you will earn 1 point every time you beat a Rift Boss. It goes without saying that you will have to beat 20 Rift Bosses to earn 20 points and hence, unlock Agent Smith.

Each point advances you to the Rift milestone starting from 1 to 30. On hitting every milestone, you will get different rewards like Fighter Currency, character Variants, etc. There’s a special Agent Smith Matrix Variant on level 30 that can be unlocked if you can manage to beat 30 Rift bosses. But you need to be quick as the “Beat Rifts, Get Agent Smith Free!” event will end on July 30, 2024. Post this event, this character will be put for sale in the shop, definitely not for free.

It should be noted that a Rift Boss mostly appears at the end of the stage. That means, beating mini bosses won’t progress you in the event. Also, you can not repeat a particular stage as you clearly have to “beat a boss for the first time to earn a point.”

That’s all you can do unlock Agent Smith in Multiversus. By the way, have you ever thought about a straight-up comparison between MultiVersus and Smash Bros? If yes, be sure to read our article about it right here on Gamer Tweak.
