Remnant 2 introduces various archetypes to suit players’ playstyles and according to their gameplay, if you prefer your character to be precise, fast, and heavy on ammunition then there is no need to look further than unlocking Gunslinger. With it, players will be able to specialize in different firearms and deal extensive damage to their enemies. The archetype was available to choose from at the start for players who preordered any of the versions of Remnant 2. Although having said that players who unfortunately missed out on the opportunity can still change their archetype in the game. How to Unlock Gunslinger in Remnant 2
Players will have to progress through the main storyline to unlock Gunslinger in Remnant 2. You will have to complete the first two worlds in your campaign while defeating the main bosses of both worlds. It becomes a lot easier once you grind your way through the second world. After which you will have to head toward Ward 13 where you will find different vendors selling Engrams. You will have to search for the NPC named Mudtooth. The objective here would be simply to exhaust all the stories he has to tell you. Because you won’t exhaust much of his stories just at the start, completing your storyline till the second world is important.
Once done, you will get your hands on three items i.e. Gunslinger’s Ring, Gunslinger’s Charm & Worn Cylinder from Mudtooth. To unlock the Gunslinger archetype players will need the Worn Cylinder and a few other items. Here is a list of all the items you require including the Worn Cylinder:
- Worn Cylinder x1
- Scrap x1000
- Lumenite Crystals x10
After having all the items at your disposal, you will have to visit Wallace and craft the Iron Cylinder Engram. You can find him in Ward 13 and once you craft the Engram you will have to equip it in the primary or secondary archetype slot to unlock Gunslinger in Remnant 2.
