How to Open the Locked Cabinets in Hogwarts Legacy? (Explained)
In order to unlock and open those Cabinets, you need to begin the Daedalian Keys side quest. For those who don’t know, this side quest is activated after talking with Nelli Oggspire in the Astronomy Wing. Wherein, she will give you the task to find 16 Daedalian Keys. These 16 Daedalian Keys are nothing similar to a regular key. In fact, they are flying keys that look like a dragonfly.
Since there are 16 Daedalian Keys, there will be 16 Cabinets for you to unlock in Hogwarts Legacy. All of them are scattered in different places and finding them is going to be hectic. Once you have found a Daedalian Key, it will automatically head toward its respective Cabinet. The keys move very quickly so make sure not to lose track of them. However, you can also use the Revelio Spell to highlight them if you lose them somehow. Upon reaching the Cabinet, you will see the Daedalian Key hovering in front of the Cabinet.
Now, in order to unlock the Cabinet, you have to slap the Key inside the keyhole. Once the Key is inside the keyhole, the cabinet will be unlocked. Inside it, you will find a Token. Collecting all 16 Tokens will unlock your respective House Chest in Hogwarts Legacy.
