With the Zen update in Grow a Garden, we’ve got new crops as well as new Gear items that will help boost your garden even more, and one of them is the Tranquil Radar. It’s a limited-time event gear that provides an efficient way to collect Tranquil-mutated fruits during the Zen Event. Here’s a guide to what it does, how to get it, and tips on using it effectively.
Tranquil Radar in Grow a Garden
The Tranquil Radar will help you collect Tranquil plants easily and is a must-have for players with packed gardens. This is useful especially if you have smaller crops like Blueberries that might get the mutation, or even slightly bigger fruits like Dragon Fruit, but they’re hidden behind other trees.
Upon activation, the radar emits an expanding bubble around your Roblox avatar. When the bubble reaches its maximum size, all Tranquil fruits within that radius are automatically harvested into your inventory. Note that the radar ignores fruits you’ve favorited, so your valuable selections remain untouched.
You can purchase a single use of the Tranquil Radar from the Tranquil Treasures shop in Grow a Garden, which is operated by the Tanuki merchant during the event. It is located at the center of the map, and the item costs 18 Chi which is the event’s special currency. If you want to spend Robux, it will cost you 199 Robux. The shop refreshes every hour, so even if it’s sold out, you can wait or manually restock using more Chi.
How to Use the Tranquil Radar
The radar is most effective during Zen Aura weather, which lasts 10 minutes every hour and triggers the mutations randomly on crops. Or, you can wait until the weather is over and then scan your garden for these specific plants.
This tool eliminates the need to manually hunt down Tranquil fruits across your garden. It’s great for larger gardens because it collects multiple fruits at once. The downside is that it’s just a single use item so you’ll need to buy a new one for each harvest. The effective range is limited so don’t expect it to clear the entire plot unless your garden is compact.
