  • Old Growth Spruce Taiga
  • Snowy Taiga
  • Taiga

Any of the biomes mentioned above will help you get the location of Trail Ruins. Moreover, you will also find blocks like Suspicious sand and Suspicious gravel in these buried structures. If you go close and examine them, you will have the chance to upgrade your armor with the help of Armor trims. Here are all the loot items you can get in Trail Ruins:

  • Wayfinder Armor Trim
  • Raiser Armor Trim
  • Shaper Armor Trim
  • Host Armor Trim

If you wish to customize your armor, you will need to head to the Smithing Table. Armor Trims can then be used at the table to upgrade your armor set.

The Minecraft 1.20 update is called Trails and Tales. Though the full update is not out yet, Mojang recently released the 23w12a Snapshot for Minecraft Java Edition. Hence, archaeology enthusiasts were quick to notice that the update also included Trail Ruins.
