Apart from the obvious things you have to collect in Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 1 + 2 like SKATE letters, secret tapes, hard hats and more, there are many hidden areas too. The one we will specifically discuss in this article is the Gym in School 2 in THPS 1 + 2. If you want to know how to open and unlock the Gym in School II, here’s how to do it.

How To Unlock Gym in School II (Secret Area)

When you start the level, take the first right you see. Grind on the rails to give a boost to your Special bar and keep going straight. Then take a left turn and skate straight into an area where you will see blue and green lockers on both sides.

Right in front of you, there will be a bell that will start ringing soon. From that location, take a left and on your right you will see a some stairs. There will be a rail in between and you have to jump up on it and start grinding on it as soon as the bell starts ringing. Yes, this isn’t just any average rail – this will actually help you unlock and open the Gym in School 2.

Once you do this correctly and reach the end of the stairs, you will see that the Gym doors will open and you have now unlocked the Matt Helsom Memorial Gymnasium. Go in and continue showing off your skating skill over there. This secret area stays unlocked so you are free to come back to it later.
