Summergamefest starts off with a bang with Tony Hawk Pro Skater 1 & 2 Remastered but in this version, the developer Vicarious Visions not only has changed the graphics but also has introduced new elements to make the games even more immersive.
Skateboarding games have always been a massive draw and Tony Hawk was the icon of a generation of kids taking their skateboard down the road. Vicarious Visions even changed some of the joystick responses to make the game challenging and yet easy enough to manage.
You can check out the trailer for the game and it looks amazing as if you are skating down the roads of Los Angeles and other such iconic places. Another massive improvement in this remake is the ability to create their own parks with no limits.
That means players can build a ramp sky high and yet have it feel realistic enough to be believable. Another addition to this version of Tony Hawk 1 & 2 Remaster is the online multiplayer ability.
Build huge skate parks and take them online to share with friends, this will bring the best out of the community, the split-screen view will also hopefully bring people together on a single couch bringing back feelings of nostalgia.
Tony Hawk Pro Skater 1 & 2 Remaster will be releasing on 4th September but those who preorder the game will get access to the iconic garage level from Tony Hawk Pro Skater 1 along with the ability to play the game before release.
This looks like it will be an amazing game and one to lookout for.
