You can throw to the first base by pressing the controls depending on your chosen Throwing interfaces. In total, there are three throwing interfaces in MLB The Show 23 that you can choose from. These are the Buttons, Button accuracy, and Analog throwing interfaces.
So, here’s how you can throw to first base in The Show 23 on all platforms:
For Buttons & Button Accuracy
- Xbox One & Series X | S: Press the B button on your controller.
- PS4 & PS5: Press the O button on your controller.
- Nintendo Switch: Hold the A button on your Joy-Con controller.
For Pure Analog
- Xbox One & Series X | S: Move the right stick (R) in the right direction to throw to 1st base.
- PS4 & PS5: Move the right joystick (R) in the right direction to throw to first base.
- Nintendo Switch: Move the right stick in the direction of the first base (Right).
