As promised, Naughty Dog has just released a new trailer for The Last of Us Part II and this time we can even see some gameplay sequences of the title.
As you can see in the new trailer below, we can see quite a few gameplay sequences from the title itself. You can watch the dark settings in the game and the brutality faced by Ellie and her colleagues throughout the game. There is much more to write about, but it’s best to see it with your own eyes.
We would like to remind you that so far three trailers of The Last of Us Part II have appeared on the network: the first one was the announcement of the game in December 2016, the second one was announcing the (shifted) release date and the third trailer was today’s video. There is also material from E3 from 2018 in the network, in which you can see over 10 minutes of gameplay.
In any case, the last few days have been difficult for Naughty Dog: the sequel to The Last of Us was the target of a leak potentially caused by hackers that were circulating around the web. The game director, Neil Druckmann did not hide his sadness because of the situation, declaring on Twitter that he was heartbroken for the development team, but also for the fans of the game.
However, this does not mean the end of work for Naughty Dog, because the team is probably already working on the “Day One” update, which will fix the last bugs caught by the studio – as was the case with Uncharted 4.
The game recently reached the Gold phase, meaning that its production is finished and that it should actually be released on June 19. Recall that The Last of Us Part II was to be released in February 2020, then in May 2020 before being delayed to June.
