But many times you might want to play as another character instead of the one you have. Of course, each character has his or her own set of powers, abilities, skills and more that will help you in missions. Apart from this, there are many skins and emotes for every hero too. How to Change Characters in Marvel’s Avengers
In order to change characters or switch between them in the campaign, you have to go to the main menu. Then, come back to the campaign where you will see your mission. You will get the character that is needed to complete that specific mission. Due to this, you won’t have to worry about not having the set of powers required to beat the mission.

After completing a significant portion of the campaign, you will also get the ability to play as any character and switch characters whenever you want. For that you have to unlock a special station in the crew quarters region.
Switching Characters
To switch characters in Multiplayer mode, you have to complete the HARM room tutorial after which you have to go to the War Table. When you interact with it, you will be able to Change Heroes from there using the button prompt shown on the screen. Then, choose the character you want (from the ones you have unlocked). To unlock more heroes, you have to complete sections of the campaign.
