What Are Strikes In Fortnite Festival?

Published Date :

After you finish playing a track in Fortnite Festival Main Stage you get 5 different stats. While 4 of them are self-explanatory, Strikes is a stat that can confuse many. Even the game’s FAQ hasn’t mentioned what it is. Basically, it has to do with the mistakes you make while playing your track. Here is everything you should know about it.

You get a strike when you play the wrong note. So for example, if you get a note of Lane 1 but in panic, you end up tapping the note for Lane 2, this is when you get a strike. This means during the entire track, the more misinputs you have, the more Strikes you will get.

If you check your stats and are confused with the Missed Notes stat. That is because each time you get a strike, there is a good chance you also miss a note. Hence the Missed Notes and Strikes stats can be the same. However, Missed Notes and Strikes stats aren’t the same.

You can have more missed notes than strikes. So if you just forget to hit a note, you will get a point for missing it but not a strike. The opposite is also possible where you hit the required note but also hit an extra note that wasn’t meant to be played. In that case you will get a strike but not a point for missing a note.

How to Get a Full Combo in Fortnite Festival

While it is easier said than done, you will have to play the entire track without missing a single note or getting a strike. The good news is that you don’t need to hit each note perfectly. That would be a disaster with the base criteria for a full combo already being this tough.

You can try getting a full combo in easy and medium modes this will help you get used to the mechanics. From medium difficulty, you also start getting Lift notes (arrows between notes). You can also try different roles to see if one is better than the other for you to get a full combo. Each role has a different difficulty for each track no matter whether you are playing on Easy, Medium, Hard, or Extreme.

That’s all on what strikes are in Fortnite Festival. Be sure to also check our guide on how to change controls. This may help you avoid strikes or missing notes!
