If you are confused about letting Yenna in BG3 stay in your camp, you wouldn’t want to suffer any unwanted consequences. While you meet Yenna as a cute kid from Rivington in Act 3, it can be a bit tricky to invite her to your camp. Due to the shape-shifting Orin, she can either be an imposter or an innocent child. And things get complicated when Yenna or her cat disappears. But even if you reject Yenna to seek shelter at your camp, an outcome will be triggered.
We recommend players Save Scumming to explore all the possible consequences. So, check out this guide to find out if you should let Yenna stay in your camp in Baldur’s Gate 3.
Should You Let Yenna Stay in Your Camp in Baldur’s Gate 3?
Yes, you should let Yenna stay in your camp in BG3 if you want to complete the Rescue Orin’s Victim side-quest. As you invite her to seek shelter at your camp, she will be abducted by Orin, the Red. But the downside of inviting Yenna is that you will gain disapproval from Astarion. Even if you don’t let Yenna stay at your camp in Baldur’s Gate 3, she will stay there and suffer the same consequences.
Here are all the known consequences if you agree to let Yenna stay in your camp:
Special Feline Dish
As you interact with Yenna at the camp in BG3, she will offer you a dish made from her mum’s favorite recipe to thank you. If you taste the meal, she will reveal using a secret ingredient – Yenna’s cat. Soon as you discover this through the Wisdom checks or by asking her, she will reveal herself to be Orin. She will ask you to kill Gortash and take the Netherstone from his corpse to save Yenna. But if you refuse, Yenna’s life will be at risk with the Orin’s assassins hunting you down.
Warning from Gortash
You will receive a warning from Gortash at Wyrm’s Rock Fortress informing you about an Imposter at the camp. When you head to the camp, you will soon uncover Yenna disguised as Orin. As you interact with her, she will reveal that she has kidnapped Yenna in BG3. And in return for saving her life, you must kill Gortash.
Companion Disguised as Orin
This consequence occurs when one of your companions is kidnapped by Orin. As you head over to the camp after a long rest, the missing companion appears stating that Yenna is disguised as Orin. If you listen to your missing companion and let them kill Yenna, they will reveal themselves to be Orin. Then, she will ask you to kill Gortash and get the Netherstone in return for your missing companion. But if you want to save Yenna, you must pass an Intimidation or Persuasion check.
Likewise, if you don’t allow Yenna at your camp in BG3, she will be kidnapped by Orin anyway. If not her, one of your companions will be abducted. As a result, you will receive a warning from Gortash. Or interact with Orin disguised as Yenna as she offers you the special kitten dish.
So, we leave the rest of the decision to you.
