Who is Leo in Stardew Valley?

Leo is an NPC who begins his story on Ginger Island but soon you will have the chance to be good friends with him. Once the friendship level increases, Leo will move to the main area of this game. Specifically, you need 6 Friendship Hearts for him to get to your mainland. He has a sad backstory where he’s lost his parents at sea which is why he considers the parrots on his islands as his family members.

You can also give up to two gifts to Leo in a week and one more on his special day – his birthday. Based on your choice of gift, he will reply to you differently and it will also affect your friendship level with him. He will seem a bit indifferent if you give him something he dislikes or hates whereas he will be super happy if you give him something he likes or loves.
