To split a Log and make use of it, you grab a Log and place it horizontally on the ground. After that, take out a sharp axe from your Inventory to get started. Once you have equipped the axe, simply look at the log that you have placed on the ground. For the next step, you can see a red dotted line on the log along with the ‘E’ prompt key. Press the key to swing the axe and split the log in two in Sons of the Forest.
Once you have perfectly chopped the wooden log, you can use it to make structures like doors. Also, there is an unlimited supply of Wood in the forest, so you will never run out of Logs to split in Sons of the Forest.
