If there is one manhwa that fans can’t wait for an anime adaptation, it’s Solo Leveling. Although we have had other anime that focus on archetypes type setup with characters becoming hunters and raiding dungeons, Solo Leveling brings it an entire new light. With fast paced action and tremendous power boost for the characters, this South Korean manhwa has captured the popularity and attention of readers.
Solo Leveling is based on Sung Jin-woo, who is originally known as the world’s weakest hunter but still continues to do so. One of these dungeons is where he is knocking on death’s door but it ends up being the boon he never would have imagined. Through sheer hard work and a perilous journey, Sung Jin-woo goes from the world’s weakest to the world’s strongest hunter. There is a lot that this anime will have to offer and the hype created around it is definitely worth it.
What is the Solo Leveling Release Date?
According to the latest trailer, Solo Leveling will be releasing in January 2024. Although the exact date on which the series will commence has not been provided yet, we are sure to find out in the coming days. It is likely that the anime will be taking on the Japanese adaptation of the manhwa and as a result there will be a few changes that viewers will notice. For instance, Jin-woo is set to become Shun Mizushino and the anime might be setup in Tokyo instead of Seoul.
Solo Leveling Cast & Crew Revealed So Far
The Solo Leveling trailer has revealed numerous details so far and the others were easy to find. With A-1 Pictures doing the magic, there is an impressive line up that is set to make this anime a top one. Shunsuke Nakashige and Noboru Kimura will be taking on the roles of Principal Director and Head Writer respectively. Along with that, the legendary composer Hiroyuki Sawano is the man behind the music so we can definitely expect to have some killer soundtracks. The following cast will voice the Japanese adaptation with international dubs soon to follow:
