How is it that bad guys get all the cool weapons? The Germans have Tanks while you have to sneak past armies to avoid being killed on many occasions. There are a few ways that can be tried to destroy Tanks in Sniper Elite 5 –
- Destroying Tanks will need more than just one sniper bullet and above all precision. They can only be destroyed from the back so your first task would be to get the Tank stopped in one position. You can do that by using TNT or Grenades to destroy the tracks of the Tank.
- Next you will have to circle around the back and shoot the guard on the mounted gun on the Tank. This will avoid you dying by the pouring bullets of the mounted gun. You need to fire sniper shots at the back of the Tank, near the Exhaust and it will be destroyed.
- Throwing a few number of explosives at the back of the Tank may also get it destroyed soon enough. You can also search the surrounding areas for a Panzerfaust. Fire the good old fashioned rocket launcher at the back of the Tank.
