How to Use a Rat Bomb in Sniper Elite 5

Sniper Elite 5 Rat Bomb

A Rat Bomb is one of many explosives and weaponry that you will come across in the game. You come across it in Mission 4 when you have to kill Matthaus Ehrlich in War Factory.

Matthaus Ehrlich has been playing both sides, supplying the Resistance with bogus information and doing the same with the Nazi army. The objective is to kill him with the Rat Bomb. ‘Rat kills Rat, poetic’.

Here’s how you can complete the objective –

  • Collect the Rat Bomb from the Resistance.
  • Glide down the ropes.
  • Cross the river without raising the alarm.
  • Enter the War Factory without being spotted by Ehrlich.
  • You will find a rat on the left side almost in the middle of the Factory.
  • Interact and plant the Rat Bomb in it.
  • Move to the office quietly and watch the scene unfold.
  • Once the scene is over quietly move out of the factory and wait for Ehrlich to come out of the office.
  • Ehrlich will be frustrated following the events in the office and will shoot the rat killing himself in the process.

The objective will be complete and you will have unlocked the Machine Pist.44 SMG. That’s all on how to use a Rat Bomb in Sniper Elite 5. While you are here, make sure you check out more guides, tips and tricks with Gamer Tweak.
