The decision to trust him or to kill him is entirely up to the player. That being said, you will first meet Kith’rak near the Githyanki Creche. Later, he will come to visit you at your campsite after your first Long Rest.

During this intense interaction, he will speak of killing Vlaakith. Kith’rak will further explain in detail the filth she has created and how she has betrayed him. He will speak of the Prism and freeing the one who is trapped inside it.

As mentioned earlier, if you don’t find him trustworthy, you will also have the option to kill him. If you choose to do this, you will trigger a battle. Although the decision to trust him is up to you, you will be able to obtain a few benefits from him, if you don’t decide to kill him.

Eventually, you will find out that Orpheus is the one trapped inside the Astral Prism, and according to Kith’rak, he is the only one who truly believes in the betterment of Githyanki. However, the Emperor opposes this thought and instead wants to keep Orpheus imprisoned. Additionally, Kith’rak will also promise you that Orpheus will be by your side while fighting the Elder Brain.

This is everything you need to know if you are skeptical about trusting Kith’rak Voss in Baldur’s Gate 3. You can also read about how you can get the Warped Headband of Intellect and which are some of the best places to use the Lump’s War Horn, all available here on Gamer Tweak.
