Want to know how to Sheath your Weapon in Baldur’s Gate 3? Carrying heavy melee weapons everywhere looks super exhausting. Moreover, it does not appear to look good visually as well. Since the game does not tell you anything about it, we are here to help you out. That said, here’s how you can Sheath Weapons to your back in BG3.

How to Sheath Melee Weapons in Baldur’s Gate 3

To Sheath your weapons, you just need to press the ‘U’ key and switch to a Bow. In this process, your character will put the melee weapon on its back but will carry a bow, which is comparatively smaller in size. Apart from this method, you can also Sheath weapons in Baldur’s Gate 3 by accessing the Inventory. Here’s how:

  • Press the ‘I’ button to open the Inventory.
  • Now, select the weapon that you want to Sheath.
  • Next, drag and drop it into a weapon slot in your Inventory.
  • After this, return back to the game and your weapon will be sheathed.

All the weapons in Baldur’s Gate 3 get sheathed on the back of your character. Some weapons that look ridiculously huge are also sheathed on the back. There’s no logical explanation behind this, to be honest. Many players have already shown their disappointment as this sheathing weapon on the back does not make sense visually. But this is all you can do to unequip your current weapon and walk freely.

That’s all you can do to Sheath your weapon in Baldur’s Gate 3. Besides this, do you know how to Edit & Lock Hotbar in BG3? Head over to our Baldur’s Gate 3 section to get answers to this and many other questions. We have stacked up plenty of helpful content for you there.
