In Zelda Tears of the Kingdom (TOTK), players must complete the Serenade to Kaysa side quest to unlock Kaysa. She is one of the four Great Fairies in this game, who will upgrade Link’s armor. However, these fairies will not come out of their buds without hearing a certain instrument. You must find a specific NPC with an instrument and take them to the fairy’s bud. In the case of Kaysa, you’ll have to find Pyper the flute player, and complete a small quest for him. Serenade to Kaysa Quest Guide in Zelda Tears of the Kingdom (TOTK)
The Lucky Clover Gazette is a common requirement that you must fulfill before taking on any fairy quest in Zelda TOTK. Once you complete it, you can start the Serenade to Kaysa quest by heading to the Outskirts Stable.
- Go to the stable located to the southwest of Hyrule Fields at the coordinates (-1405, -1266, 0032).
- Talk to Mastro near the stable and he’ll inform you about Pyper’s location.
- Head over to the Highland Stable southeast to Lake Hylia.
- Find Pyper on a tree at the coordinates (0521, -3390, 0048).

- Then, return to the Outskirts Stable and talk to Mastro again.
- Make arrangements for their transportation by repairing a nearby vehicle.

- Drive the vehicle through the rocky path to the coordinates (-1449, -1269, 0076).

Once you reach the fairy, the Stable Trotters will perform a serenade for Kaysa and she will emerge from her flower bud. By completing this quest, you will be rewarded with 100 Rupees.
