How to Send Voice Messages on Discord
You can record and send a voice message on Discord using the mic button next to the emoji button. You need to press and hold to start the recording of the voice message. Once you have finished your recording, release the button to send it to your friend, server, or other groups. It’s worth noting that you can send voice messages to the servers only with lesser than 200 members.
You can cancel the Voice message by sliding the recording option into the trash bin. If you want to send a longer Voice note, you can slide up to lock the recording before sending it. The maximum duration can be up to 20 minutes long. You can also flag an audio recording by reporting it. For that, tap and hold the message to select the Report message option. While for PC players, you can right-click on the message to report the Voice recording.
Alongside creating & sending your voice messages, it also uses Krisp noise cancellation. This feature can block any unnecessary background voices distorting your Voice message. So, you don’t have to worry about being audible.
Can you Send Voice Notes on PC?
No, you cannot send or record a voice message on the PC and other platforms. This feature is available only for mobile users as of now. Although Discord PC users can play these recorded audio messages, there is no option to record or send them. Note that you can play any sent Discord Voice messages on all the supported platforms.
