Where and How to Sell Books in Starfield
In Starfield, you can sell a book at a place called Sinclair’s Books in Akila City on Akila Planet. Follow the directions below to reach this location:
- Firstly, set up a course to the Cheyenne System and land in Akila City on Akila Planet.
- Next, get past this board that says – Welcome to Akila City.
- After that, walk a few steps and take a left turn to enter a small passage.
- Cross that passage to enter the main Akila City.
- Now, go straight and take the stairs just behind Rowland Arms weapon store.
- Head straight and you will find Sinclair’s Book just below the stairs.
You will have to talk to an NPC called Ahnjong Sinclair there. Interact with her to sell the books you have in your Inventory. You can receive 2000 Credits after selling a book at Sinclair Books Shop in Starfield. That’s a great deal for sure. Also, keep in mind that you won’t be able to trade Skill Books at this place. Skill Books are different from normal storybooks and magazines. Such books provide you with a stat boost.
Should You Sell Books in Starfield?
Other than Skill Books, you can collect various other story books. They can be put on display in your bookshelf (if you have any) on your Ship. Otherwise, you can sell them in exchange for Credits at the above location. Seriously, that’s the only known purpose of the Old Earth Books (Story Books) in Starfield. But if you ask me, then I will recommend you sell the books. Not only you will earn money but also clear some storage from your Inventory.
