Looking forward to Season 3 of Modern Warfare 2 & Warzone 2? So are we! After the successful launch of Season 2 which added Ranked Play, 4 new maps, and some great weapons, fans were excited to see what the new season has in store. Activision has finally released some news on the upcoming update so let’s take a quick look at all we know about MW2 and Warzone 2 Season 3.

Activision plans to stick to its original plan of releasing a new season every two months and Season 3 is no different. Season 3 of MW2 and Warzone 2 is set to drop on 12th April. With Season 2 set to end on 11th April, players will be able to play the new season the very next day. Hopefully, players can pre-load the update as they did for the previous seasons and start fresh on day one.

The new seasons have up till now added a ton of new content to the games and Season 3 is no different. For fans of the original 2009 Modern Warfare 2, Activision is bringing back one of the most beloved guns in Season 3. Fans can unlock an updated FJX Imperium Sniper in the Season 3 Battle Pass of MW2. A new 6v6 Multiplayer Map called Pelayo’s Lighthouse is also set to drop with the new season.

Activision is also bringing back old modes like Plunder in Season 3. And as the season progresses, players can finally experience Ranked Play in Warzone 2. Fans can expect a lot more news on Season 3 leading up to its launch. But one thing’s for certain, Season 3 is building up to be the most eventful update to Modern Warfare 2 and Warzone 2 yet.
