How To Save Thulla In Baldur's Gate 3 (BG3)

Thulla, an innocent Druid tiefling, has been poisoned and needs your help. To find Thulla, you will need to travel deep into the Underdark to the Myconid Colony. When you arrive at the colony, you should enter peacefully, waiting to be summoned by the Sovereign Spaw, who rules over the myconids.

The Sovereign will likely tell you the Duergar has poisoned Thulla and direct you to the highest point in the colony’s center. You’ll find Thulla lying on the ground in front of the Sovereign’s throne.

How to Cure Thulla in BG3?

Here are the best methods for curing Thulla of her poison:

Cast Lesser Restoration

The simplest method is to cast the Cleric spell Lesser Restoration on Thulla. As a spell, Lesser Restoration will immediately remove the poison effect. This guarantees that Thulla will be cured if you have a Cleric in your party with the spell prepared. The downside is that it will use up one of your 2nd level spell slots.

Use a Potion of Antitoxin

Giving Thulla a standard Potion of Antitoxin will also cure the poison. These can sometimes be sold by merchants or looted from chests and enemies. The advantage of using an antitoxin potion is that it cures Thulla without having to expend any of your party’s spell slots. However, antitoxin potions can be rare and expensive. You would need to already have one in your inventory to use this method.

Obtain the Duergar Antidote

The third method is to travel south to the Underdark and find the Duergar named Gekh Coal. He has in his possession a Duergar Antidote that can permanently cure Thulla. While this requires more effort to reach Gekh Coal, you won’t have to waste spell slots or antitoxin potions. The downside is that Gekh may not hand over the antidote freely. Some negotiation or combat may be required to obtain it.
