How to Save Your Burning Base without Water Pals in Palworld
Here are some of the best methods you can use in case you don’t have any Water-type Pals working in your base when there is a fire.
Disassemble Structures
One of the quickest ways to put out a fire in Palworld is by deconstructing the structure or the building that is on fire. To do this, you can quickly enter the Build Mode and click on the ‘Dissasembly Mode‘ option that is present towards the bottom.
This process will only work on the objects that haven’t completely burnt down. However, if you dismantle the burning structure fast enough, you will get back some of the resources you used while building that particular object. Additionally, by using this method you will be able to stop the fire from spreading and destroying your base.
Build Stone Structures
If you want to prevent these fires from causing havoc at your base, players must start swapping out their wooden structures and use stone-base structures, instead. This is because, if your base is predominately filled with wooden objects, the fire will rapidly spread. On the other hand, the stone structures will be waterproof and fire-resistant as well. To unlock the Stone Structure Set players will have to get to Technology level 18 first.
Deacitve Raids
Since most of the fires can be caused due to raids, players can opt to deactivate these raids altogether. Although doing this will have its fair share of negatives, the upside of this deactivation will be less base destruction and fewer injured Pals. To do this, you can go to your World Settings and scroll down to get the ‘Enable Raid Events‘ option. From here, set this option to ‘Off‘ and click on ‘OK‘ to apply the changes.
Avoiding Fire-type Pals
Although Fire-type Pals can be extremely useful, players must ensure that they are not trying to defeat or capture any of these creatures near their base. Since this combat tends to get heated, the Pal you are trying to catch might accidentally start a fire that will spread and destroy your entire base. As a result, avoid capturing or engaging with any of these creatures when you are close to your base.
