How To Remove Charms In Resident Evil 8 Village

Updated Date :

If you are wondering how to remove weapon charms in Resident Evil Village, here’s how to do it. These charms are cosmetics which are a part of weapon customization. They don’t impact the performance of your weapon, they are just there for the ‘look’. In a horror game like this, though, you might not want the charm to be there at some moments. It does break the immersion. Aiming will be impacted by it especially since you are already pretty scared. So, let’s look at how to remove charms in Resident Evil 8.

How to Remove Weapon Charms in Resident Evil Village

To remove the charm attachment that you have equipped to your weapon, you can hide it from the Options menu > Special > Display Weapon Charms > Off. Note that this option can only be toggled from the Main Menu. You won’t be able to get rid of it completely, you can only toggle it off. Choose to make the weapon charms viewable or not via this option and you won’t have any distractions while aiming.

Weapon Charms are a part of pre-order bonuses in this game and they are Mr Raccoon and Mr Everywhere. They look cute but, yes, if you are playing the game at night and a creature pops out of nowhere, you probably don’t want to be distracted by the swinging charm. If you change your mind, you can always turn on its display once again whenever you want.
