In the above image, you can find a Rare Stone Talus in the location with a red marker surrounded by a yellow border. Once you reach there, look out for giant or moderately giant rock clusters. If you find one, confirm if it is Rare Stone Talus by going near.

How to Beat Rare Stone Talus in TOTK (TOTK)
In Tears of the Kingdom, the steps to defeat a Battle Stone Talus & Rare Stone Talus is the same. Check out how to defeat the Rare Stone Talus below.
- Firstly, make sure you have a Hammer in your Inventory. It will come in handy while beating this stone monster later.
- After that, try to get under the Rare Stone Talus and use the Ascend Ability. Doing so will help you get on its back.
- So, once you are on the back of the Rare Stone Talus, hit the ore deposit there. You must use a hammer to break the ore deposit.
- Successfully breaking the ore will kill the Rare Stone Talus in Tears of the Kingdom (TOTK).
After defeating it, it will drop rewards like a Rare Stone Talus Heart or Gems like Sapphire, Topaz, Ruby, Amber, Opal, Flint, or Diamond.
