Molduga World Boss Location in Zelda TOTK
Players can find Molduga in four areas of the Gerudo Desert region of Zelda Tears of the Kingdom. Thanks to the map from MapGenie, we can pinpoint the locations where we found this World Boss. However, since this boss lies underneath the vast sand and with such low visibility, they are a huge threat. Along with that, you can only damage them while they are above the ground so this boss fight is going to be a tricky one. Nevertheless, we have defeated them so you can check out how to beat them right below.
How to Beat Molduga in Zelda TOTK
Since Molduga resides under the sand, you will have to lure them out. Almost like a shark, they will jump out of the sand beneath your feet with an attempt to grab you. If you are caught, you can consider it a one-shot death right here. The areas that we marked has rocky formations along with the sand that will prove to be helpful. Here’s how to beat Molduga in Zelda Tears of the Kingdom:
- Firstly, you will need to have one of the best bows in the game, that can provide you with a decent range. Along with that, you’ll need a few arrows fused with Bomb Flower to deal damage and knock Molduga. You will also need some form of lure that forces the Molduga to jump out. While regular arrows will do the jump, we prefer using fruits like apple.
- Now that you have the required materials, head to one of the locations that we mentioned for Molduga in Zelda TotK.
- Once you are there, get on the rocks and then use the item to lure out the world boss. As soon as it makes the jump, use the fused arrow to knock down the boss and then run to it and attack.
- Make sure that the lure you used is closer to the rocks as you will have to get back on them soon. Patience is key so don’t try to attack more than necessary on every chance that you get.
Soon, you will do enough damage to beat Molduga in Zelda Tears of the Kingdom and collect the drops. Molduga Jaw, Molduga Fin, and Molduga Guts, are most valuable among others.
