Chainsaw Man has been making some stirs in the anime and manga community. The anime follows the main character Denji who becomes half human and half devil right at the start and is recruited by the public Devil Hunters. Who is Pochita in Chainsaw Man Anime?
Pochita or the cute little puppy with a chainsaw head that you get to meet at the start of the anime is the Chainsaw Devil. Pochita and Denji share a great bond as you can see at the start of the journey. And as Denji is about to die at the end of the first episode, the Chainsaw Devil decides to merge with Denji becoming his heart. Although the manga has revealed a lot about this character, we won’t be spoiling that here.
After becoming one with the Chainsaw Devil, Denji earns the name Chainsaw Man as he works his way as a Devil Hunter.
Is Pochita in Chainsaw Man Anime Dead or Alive?
If you are worried that the cute little puppy had to pay the ultimate sacrifice for Denji, rest assured since Pochita is alive and kicking. The only thing that has changed is the state of the Chainsaw Devil as he now acts as Denji’s heart. Pochita and Denji enter into a contract that allows Denji to live and use the powers of the Chainsaw Devil like most Devil Hunters do.
