Roblox is a platform that is growing day by day with millions of visitors daily, most of which are kids. Nintendo Switch is a family-friendly console that can be a handheld device or docked as a home console. One of the best things that could happen, especially for the Roblox player demographic is playing Roblox games on Nintendo Switch or Switch Lite. Roblox Corp’s CEO Dave Baszucki has even revealed that “Switch, PlayStation, Quest – all of these platforms make perfect sense for Roblox.” But is it available right now or do we use a workaround? Unfortunately, Roblox is not available as an app or game download on Nintendo Switch or Switch Lite. As of January 2022, you can play Roblox games on PC, Xbox One, iOS, and Android only. Although you can open up Roblox.com via the browser on your Switch, you won’t be able to actually play the games on it.

Will Roblox come to a Nintendo platform soon?


Roblox is a big name in the gaming world now and expanding to the Switch audience is going to boost their revenue multifold. Most games on the Switch are expensive and yet, they sell a lot. It’s an audience that’s willing to shell out bucks for good games and I think, the Switch-Roblox combo is going to be a great success. Roblox has plans to reach Switch players – we just don’t know how soon the port will happen. Plus, we’re not yet sure if it will require a Nintendo Online membership.
