Do you need to Subscribe to PS Plus to Play God of War Ragnarok?
The answer to that question is No! You don’t need to subscribe to PS Plus to play God of War Ragnarok. As the game would be offline single-player, subscribing to PS Plus won’t be a requirement. Despite several single-player titles being included, GOW Ragnarok will not be available on the launch in PS Plus. To play GOW Ragnarok, you need to purchase the game in full.
God of War Ragnarok will release on November 9, 2022. It will be priced at $60 and $70 for PS4 and PS5 consoles respectively. While the disappointment of the subscribed players is quite understandable, there is a silver lining. Since God of War (2018) is available for PS Plus users, PlayStation might include GOW Ragnarok for PS4 and PS5 sometime later.
