How To Plant & Grow Seeds In Sons Of The Forest

How to Make Planter to Plant & Grow Seeds in Sons of the Forest

In Sons of the Forest to Plant Seeds, the player will need to craft a Planter. The game features 2 types of planters that you can choose from, which are Wall Planter & Standing Planter. To build these, the player will have to first access the following blueprints from the survival guidebook. For a better understanding, take a look at the steps mentioned below.

  • First, go ahead and press B to open the Survival guidebook.
  • Next, press X to switch modes and head to the Gardening section.
  • There, you’ll see the Wall & Standing planter recipes.
    • Standing Planter can be crafted using 18 Sticks.
    • Wall Planter can be crafted using 16 Sticks.
  • Simply collect the required sticks or ask Kelvin to do so.
  • Once done, click on the Planter you want to craft, and place it on your desired location by pressing Left Click on your mouse. Players can even rotate the structure by pressing Q & R key.
  • Then, place the sticks in the blueprints outline by pressing E and you’ll be good to go.
  • After that, aim at the planter and press the prompt key. i.e. E to bring the seeds that you have in your inventory.
  • Next, simply select the one you want to Plant and leave it for 2-3 days to grow.

If you don’t have seeds then explore the forest and you’ll find some between the bushes. There are various seeds you can plant in this game, such as Salmonberries, Blueberries, Blackberries, and more. However, as a downside, one planter can only hold one type of seed.
