Persona 5 Strikers: How To Unlock New Game Plus

There’s a New Game+ mode in Persona 5 Strikers and players want to know how to unlock it. That’s because you will get access to the Merciless or Risky difficulty setting which will ramp up the difficulty level significantly. So, those Persona fans who want to know how to unlock New Game Plus in Persona 5 Strikers, keep reading until the end. But here’s a fair warning, it will take a lot of effort and time to access it. Additionally, there will be some spoilers ahead since it talks about completing the base game and moving ahead from there.

How to Unlock New Game+ in Persona 5 Strikers (P5S)

There are multiple things you have to do in order to unlock New Game Plus (NG+) in Persona 5 Strikers.

First, complete the request to beat the Reaper boss.
This requires you to complete multiple requests beforehand and you have to face multiple bosses. These requests will be given by Lavenza of Velvet Room.
When you defeat the Reaper, you will unlock New Game+ mode and access to the Merciless difficulty.
Do note that you have to first finish the base game for which you have to beat the final boss Demiurge.

Persona 5 Strikers New Game Plus Carry Over

Wondering what carries over in Persona 5 Strikers New Game Plus? The list includes items, your money, equipment, Persona Compendium, Persona Points, Bond level, skills, points, Character levels and also the Persona Levels. Also, Zenkichi Hasegawa will be available from the beginning. The other thing that changes is that Sophia will have Pandora instead of Pithos.

As you can tell, there’s a lot you have to do in order to unlock New Game Plus in Persona 5 Strikers. The bosses on their own are pretty ruthless, especially the Reaper. When you do beat the base game, you will get the save data of the Game being Cleared. Upon loading it up, you will get into the post-game which will get you to the secret boss.

In terms of the Risky difficulty, here’s what changes in your playthrough. It’s a much tougher version which explains why it is called ‘Merciless’ as well.
