Genshin Impact is an action role-playing game where you play as a Traveler in the world of Tevyet and along the way you meet other characters along the way and welcome them into your party. Perilous Trail Questline Guide in Genshin Impact
The Perilous Trail Questline in Genshin Impact takes place in the Chasm. It is the Archon Quest Interlude Chapter: Act II which takes place during the event. In this questline, you can unlock rewards like:
- Primogems
- Crown of Insight
- Hero’s Wit
- Mora
- Mystic Enhancement Ore
- Talent Level-Up Materials
- Weapon Ascension Materials
Upon completing the Realms of Guile and War, you will unlock the Event-Exclusive Weapon, Fading Twilight, & its Refinement Material. You can check out our guide on the Fading Bow to know more about it. The whole premise of Perilous Trail is the Traveler & Paimon go on an Investigation in the Chasm. There they meet up with some old friends like Yanfae, Itto, & Xiao with some new ones like Shinobu & Yelan. They end up getting stranded and are on one mission to get out.
Most of the Quest is the Traveler talking to each character, developing the story even further. The main part of the Perilous Trail is the Realms of Guile and War. Completing it will give you rewards and doing it in Hard mode will give even more rewards on top of the ones you will get from the normal mode. It is 3 sets of 3 battles, each getting tougher than the other. For each battle, you are allowed one character to use in all fights but need to switch out the rest. I would suggest keeping your best team last.
