The only way to acquire new costumes in Bayonetta 3 is by purchasing them from Rodin’s Gates of Hell shop. While on the Chapter selection screen, press the – button to enter the shop. Thereafter, upon entering the shop, navigate and select Rodin’s Treasure wherein you can purchase Mirrors, Costumes, and CB Modifiers. Further, you can use the Halos to purchase the Costume from there. However, make sure that you have a considerable amount of Halo with you as they are comparatively tougher to get in Bayonetta 3.

Outfits in Bayonetta 3 are known as Mirrors and some of these are only unlocked by completing chapters. So it is recommended to complete the entire game first and save a decent amount of Halos before customizing your appearance.
