He will only give you this quest once you have spoken to him on three different occasions and that too not back to back. How to Get Fluorite for The Pride of a Lover Quest in NieR Replicant?
Now the man mentions that the Fluorite will be available at the Facade’s Strange-thing store. So once you head on to the town of Facade, instruct the boat NPC to take you to the Facade strange-Thing Store. Upon reaching there, you will be informed by the storekeeper that the material has been exhausted. But, he gives an alternative option of getting Fluorite from inside the Barren Temple.
The players then have to go to the gate of the King’s mansion and interact with the masked guard. He will provide you with a compass that will help you reach the Barren Temple.
Once inside the temple, the Fluorite is scattered in random places inside the temple. So the players will have to scout the temple until they find a shiny glittering light which is the Fluorite. Gather at least one of them and head back to our lover boy near the lighthouse to complete the quest.
