How to Increase Mystic Frog Spawn Rate
- You can increase its spawn rate with Gnomes, Water Candles, Battle Potions, and Coin Luck. But Water Candles and Battle Potions will also increase the monster spawn rate. Before using them, keep the Guide To Gritter Companionship tool in your inventory.
- Mystic Frog spawn rate increases during Blood Moon and Solar Eclipse. But the enemy spawn rate will also increase.
- The best way to avoid monsters and increase Critter spawn rate is by building a town of at least 3 NPCs.
How to Get a Mystic Slime Town Pet in Terraria
When you throw Purification Powder on the Mystic Frog it will turn into Mystic Slime. Purification Powder is purchased from the Dryad for 75 Copper Coins. A Mystic Slime is a town pet like Town Cat and Town Bunny. And keeping them decreases the enemy spawn rate. But most importantly, you need them to complete The Great Slime Mitosis achievements.
