As they, WWE 2K23 is Even Stronger! This statement somehow proves to be true as Visual Concepts (developers) bring significant changes. One of those improved and updated features comes to the MyGm Mode of WWE 2K23. While last year’s MyGM mode was criticized by the players, this year’s installment has received seemingly positive reviews. That being said, here is everything you should know about this updated mode and the changes it brings.
All New Changes Made in MyGM Mode of WWE 2K23

New General Managers
In WWE 2K22, you can either create a Custom General Manager and choose anyone from Adam Pearce, Sonya Deville, William Regal, Shane McMahon, and Stephanie McMahon. While William Regal and Shane McMahon are now gone in WWE 2K23’s MyGM Mode, you have other options like Xavier Woods, Tyler Breeze, Kurt Angle, Eric Bischoff, and Mick Foley.
New Brands
In this new MyGM Mode, you now have 2 new Brands to manage which include NXT 2.0 and WCW. This means, you now have control over 5 brands that include Raw, Smackdown, NXT, NXT 2.0, and WCW.
4 General Managers
In the past, only 1 GM was operational throughout the season. Although, in WWE 2K23’s MyGM mode, 4 GMs can now go toe-to-toe to establish brand dominance in Pro Wrestling.
New Match-types
Apart from Normal, Tables, TLC, Extreme Rules, and Hell in a Cell matches, we are getting 9 more match types to book. Here are all the new matches that we are getting in WWE 2K23’s MyGM Mode:

- Backstage Brawl
- Falls Count Anywhere
- Submission
- Iron Man
- Last Man Standing
- Tornado Tag
- Triple Threat
- Fatal-Four-Way
Midcard Championships
Thankfully, other titles such as Intercontinental Championship, US Championship, Men & Women’s Tag Team Championships, NXT North American Championship, and WWE Hardcore Championship are now available in MyGM Mode. Whereas, in previous games, there was only WWE Championship, Universal Championship, and Raw & Smackdown Women’s Championship.
Slammy Awards & Hall of Fame
At the end of every Season, Superstars can now earn a Slammy Award for the respective category. Moreover, a GM who earns 10 HoF Trophies will guarantee his/her place in the Hall of Fame. HoF Trophies can be earned by completing seasonal challenges.
Superstar Shake-ups and Draft
In MyGM mode of WWE 2K23, Superstar Shake-ups are available throughout the season. Moreover, with the help of the new Keepers feature, a GM can keep his/her desired roster ready before a Seasons’ Draft. Also, keep in mind that this will depend upon a few factors such as the cost of resigning and roster morale.
