You can solve the Moonstone Pillars Merlin Trials by using the Lumos spell that you will unlock early in the game. While the Moonstone Pillars Merlin Trials may look complex, it is relatively easier than other puzzles or riddles. You simply have to activate all three Moonstone Pillars with the moths or butterflies using the Lumos spell.
