How to Solve Moonstone Pillars Merlin Trials in Hogwarts Legacy
You can solve the Moonstone Pillars Merlin Trials by using the Lumos spell that you will unlock early in the game. While the Moonstone Pillars Merlin Trials may look complex, it is relatively easier than other puzzles or riddles. You simply have to activate all three Moonstone Pillars with the moths or butterflies using the Lumos spell.
Once you reach the Moonstone Pillars Merlin Trial locations, here’s how to solve them:
- Firstly, cast the Revelio spell to discover all the Moonstone Pillars and the moths around the area.
- As you spot the butterflies or moths around the area, cast the Lumos spell near them. Doing so will allow the Moths to follow your wand.
- Then, take the moths and the wand to the Moonstone Pillars to activate them.
- The trick here is to cast the Revelio spell to discover the groups of butterflies. And use the Lumos spell to make these butterflies follow your wand.
- After you have attracted the moths, head over to the Moonstone blocks, pillars, or cubes to activate them.
- You have to repeat this process two more times with the remaining blocks or pillars to activate them.
- Once you have activated all three, you will complete the Moonstone Pillars Merlin Trials in Hogwarts Legacy.
- You will be rewarded with the XP reward and progress with the different Merlin Trials challenges.
In total, there are 95 Merlin Trials that you can solve throughout the Wizarding World. Completing these trials can increase your gear slots which allows you to maximize your inventory space.
