The reward for solving these puzzles is useful so we’ll help you get through it.

How to Solve Keenbridge Merlin Trial in Hogwarts Legacy

Use Depulso to move the boulder in Keenbridge Merlin Trial

To solve the Merlin Trial in Keenbridge village, you’ll have to use Accio and one of the following spells:

  • Depulso
  • Wingardium Leviosa

You can also use the Basic Cast but it’s too much of a hassle. To unlock Depulso, complete Professor Sharp’s Assignment 1. While, to unlock Wingardium Leviosa, complete Professor Garlick’s Assignment 1. Once you have either of these spells, you can start the trial.

Once you start the Keenbridge Merlin Trial, follow these steps to solve it:

  1. Go to the village and past the Potions merchant’s cart.
  2. Find the Boulder with a swirly design next to a wooden ramp.
  3. Go behind the boulder and use Depulso to push it over the ramp.
  4. Then, keep pushing the boulder using this spell over the bridge next to Merlin’s Trial activation spot.
  5. On the other side, push the boulder into the stone hole to the left of the bridge.

Once you get the boulder into the hole, the trial will be complete. You can also use Accio to move the boulder. But you’ll need Depulso or a Basic Cast combo to push it past the ramp and the bridge. Once you complete enough trials, you’ll be rewarded with more inventory space to store more pieces of Gear and Equipment.
