With the arrival of a new update, many are wondering which are the Stardew Valley mods compatible with 1.6. Usually when a new version releases, especially one that majorly changes things up, many mods break and players have to wait until the modders work on the compatibility. However, the creator ConcernedApe has released a list of 1000 Stardew Valley mods that work with 1.6 — here’s what you need to know.
Stardew Valley Mods Compatible With 1.6 Update
Here’s a tweet by @ConcernedApe that has an extensive list of all the Stardew Valley mods that work with 1.6 as well as those that are broken.
Head over to smapi.io/mods and browser through the compatible as well as incompatible mods and content packs. A troubleshooting guide is also available on the page, in case a mod doesn’t work after following the instructions given in the list. In the tweet, the developer also adds that they have added a public Steam branch that will let you stay on version 1.5.6 if you wish. But they recommend trying out 1.6 without mods.
Stardew Valley mods are a great way to add new content and features to the game, or to change the way it looks and feels. There are mods available for just about everything you can imagine, from adding new crops and animals to changing the game’s difficulty.
Some of the broken Stardew Valley mods after 1.6 are 24h Clock, Advanced Key Bindings, Adventure Shop Inventory, All Crops All Seasons, Almighty Farming Tool, Animal Birth Every Night, Battery Warning Mod, Bookcase, Craft Anything, and Farmhouse Redone. The list has some good suggestions for some mods that are broken but have alternatives to use.
Popular Stardew Valley mods compatible with 1.6 and available on Nexus Mods are NPC Map Locations, CJB Cheats Menu, Content Patcher, SpaceCore, CJB Item Spawner, Stardew Valley Expanded, Lookup Anything, Json Assets, Farm Type Manager (FTM), Tractor Mod and lots more.
And there you have it! It’s good news for players who use mods that a majority of the highly-downloaded mods are still compatible with the game. For more information regarding all the latest additions to Stardew Valley, explore our dedicated category.
