- You can upgrade Moana’s Boat by spending Star Coins. Interact with the Scrooge McDuck construction sign found next to the boat and give Scrooge McDuck some coins to upgrade the boat.
- Every upgrade cost increases approximately by 1.5x or 2x.
- Initially, when you unlock Moana’s Fishing boat by completing her ‘Fixing The Boat’ quest, the boat gets you 1 fish every 30 minutes with a maximum storage capacity of 2 Fish.
- By spending 1,000 Star Coins on it, you increase the storage capacity by 4 Fishes and the time to catch one fish reduces to 20 minutes.
- You need to have nine upgrades to reach the maximum capacity.
- The Final upgrade will cost you 50,000 Star Coins, which gives you a storage capacity of 20 fish with reduced time to catch per fish by 6 minutes.
- After upgrading the Boat to the maximum level, you can obtain even rare fish without energy loss.
How to Complete the ‘Fix the Boat’ quest?
- To complete the fix the boat quest reach friendship level 2 with Moana and unlock the quest.
- In this quest, you will need to fix Moana’s Boat by gathering 50x Softwood, 40x Fiber, and 3x Pink Hydrangea.
- Softwoods are found around trees. Companion with Foraging role will help you to gather extra Softwood for you.
- Fiber is crafted out of Seaweed which is found across ponds and can be gathered while fishing.
- Dazzle Beach has Pink Hydrangea, which is easily foraged.
- You will be required to make 3x rustic wooden boxes, 3x baskets, and 4x ropes after collecting all the necessary items.
- You can craft these items in your workbench and give them to Moana to repair the Boat.
- After completing the quest, you will get a Fish every 30 minutes.
