Minecraft Live was the center of attention in the Fall of 2020 as many new Items and mechanics were introduced and it also caused a lot of controversies among the Community. Mojang, the developers of Minecraft, is having another Minecraft Live in 2021 and this is what you should know. Here’s its date, time and how to watch it.
What is Minecraft Live 2021?
Minecraft Live is a Livestream streamed by Mojang to showcase a new update. Through Minecraft Live, Mojang shows what they have been up to. Like in Minecraft Live 2020, they introduced new biomes like the Lush Caves, new mobs like the Axolotl, new ores like the Copper ore, and much more. This is also where the community can vote for the new Mobs. The winner of the votes will be brought into the game.
Observing the last few Major updates, it is safe to say we are going to see something huge like the Nether update in 1.16 Update and the Caves & Cliffs update in 1.17 Update. Maybe the END Dimension will get an Update but this is all speculation. All we can say is that it will bring the introduction of new content in terms of Blocks and Mobs, as well as new Mechanics.
When is Minecraft Live 2021?
On the 2nd of September, Mojang had released a Trailer for Minecraft Live 2021. In the Trailer, a lot of stuff was shown as well as when Minecraft Live 2021 will happen. It will happen on the 16th of October 2021 at 12 noon EDT.
How do you watch Minecraft Live?
It will be available on multiple platforms like Facebook, Youtube, and Twitch as a Livestream. It will be live on the aforementioned date.
What can we expect from the Livestream?
If we compare the trailer and the Livestream of Minecraft Live 2020, the trailer had shown us the 3 Mobs that were to be voted and a lot of new content for Minecraft and Minecraft: Dungeons. Looking at the Minecraft Live 2021 trailer we see that Mojang talks about enhanced visuals and audio features. This could only pertain to the Livestream only but may also be technical enhancements to the game itself. B.E.A.C.O.N. and PILLAGER RAID-EO SOUND could hold some significance. As of now nothing much can be said but one thing is sure that it will blow our expectations beyond epic proportions.
