New Blocks in Minecraft 1.21 Update
Crafter
During Minecraft Live 2023, Mojang Studios announced we will receive the ultimate crafting stations that will cater to all our crafting needs. This crafting utility block will be powered with the help of the Redstone. It will also have the option to collect and store items, so that you can make use of a recipe whenever you feel like crafting something.
Copper Bulb
A new light source block will be added with the new update and it will be called Copper Bulb. The light it emits will get dim due to oxidization, however, you will be able to use your Axe to bring back the light. Additionally, you can also use a Redstone to turn it off and back on.
Trial Spawner
This rare block will spawn enemy mobs, depending on the number of players. Once you have successfully completed the challenge and destroyed all the hostile mobs you will be rewarded with loot that is dropped by this spawner. After this, the Trial Spawner block will go into cool-down and will emit smoke to convey the message that no enemies will spawn until the cool-down period is over.
This will last for up to 30 minutes and you will once again be able to start this challenge and collect some rare resources through the loot. If you are lucky enough, this spawner might also drop the Trial Key, which is also a new item that will be added in the update.
New Mobs in Minecraft 1.21 Update
The Breeze
You will have to defeat this new addition playful hostile mob, named Breeze. You will encounter this enemy while exploring the Trial Chambers and although Breeze might remind you of Blaze, both their attacks are very different from one another.
It is white, blue, and purple in color and uses a wind-charged attack to destroy its opponents. This particular attack doesn’t deal much damage, however, the Breeze’s wind burst will interact with all the neighboring entities and can severely damage them.
Armadillo
Also known as the fan favorite, the Armadillo is the winner of the Minecraft Mob Vote 2023. These mobs can be found mostly residing in the Savanna Biome and they will drop Scute, an important resource that can be used while crafting armor for your wolves. They are brown in color and usually curl up into their shells whenever they feel threatened.
Bats
Even though the Bat mobs are already a part of Minecraft, the new update will showcase them in a new upgraded texture. Apart from this, their flying animation has also been slightly adjusted, which makes it look even more realistic.
