Microsoft Flight Simulator gives you the true and realistic feeling of flying an aircraft. It has a lot of terms and controls that can be confusing if you are trying this game for the first time. One such confusion is about the Microsoft Flight Simulator Num Del Key on PC. It is required for disengaging the parking brake to take off. But where is the Num Del Key on the keyboard? Find out here.

Num Del Key in Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020

There are a lot of combinations of keys in this game and their complexity can get overwhelming. Since this is a proper simulator, you will see that there are too many keybindings and keyboard shortcuts to remember. To make things easier you can either print them out or if you have another screen, keep them open over there. Of course, you can change the difficulty settings (Assistance level) if you feel that it is getting too tough to handle.

Regarding this particular Num Del key though, the confusion is frustrating a lot of players. How to apply a brake or remove the parking brake with these controls?

Well, the answer is this. Num Del basically means that you have to press the Decimal or . or Delete button on the number pad with the Num Lock OFF. This will give you the Num Del combination. It is quite simple to understand once you know how it works.

Note that depending on the fact that your Num Lock is on or off, the action taken by the buttons will be different.

Where is the Num Lock on my keyboard?

You will find the Num Lock key on the top right area of the keyboard on most keyboards. It might also have a light to indicate if the Num Lock is on or off.

That’s everything you need to know about the Microsoft Flight Simulator Num Del Key. Keep reading more such guides about the latest games as well as news and updates on Gamer Tweak.
