It has been two weeks since Monster Hunter Rise released but there are players who still don’t know a few mechanics in it. One such mechanic is the Fortunate Effect. The only reason why people are confused about the Fortunate Effect is the game has not explained what it does and how to get it in MH Rise.
If you too don’t know much about the Fortunate Effect in MH Rise then don’t worry, we have got you everything covered here.
What Is Fortunate Effect In Monster Hunter Rise?
If you have just started playing Monster Hunter Rise then you might not know what does the Fortunate Effect do in Monster Hunter Rise because you will discover it in the latter part of the game. For the unversed, Fortunate in MH Rise is an armor skill that can only be enabled when you wear the full armor set of two final bosses — Wind Serpent Ibushi and the Thunder Serpent Narwa.

Once you have successfully equipped these sets, you will have the Fortunate skill unlocked, giving a brief description of what it does in the game. However, the information you get is not sufficient.
Notably, Fortunate Effects works like ‘Great Luck’ or ‘Good Luck’ skills used to do in previous title Monster Hunter: World. For the informed, these two skills increase the chance of getting rewards for whatever activities you participate in the game.
Similar to these activities, the Fortunate Effect will increase your chance of getting rewards for whatever activities you take part in Monster Hunter Rise. This might sound like an amazing skill but it is not worth it because it requires you to equip a full armor set of two final bosses. I highly recommend not to go for it unless it is mandatory to get the Fortunate Effect bonus.
