To trigger Heart Events in Story Of Seasons A Wonderful Life, players will first have to increase their affection for Matthew. To do this you should be aware of what Matthew likes and dislikes and hand him the best gifts accordingly in the game. If you are wondering what to gift him in the game, given below is the list of all the items you can give him to increase affection:
- Meals: He prefers specific meals like Curry, Soups & Salads
- S-Grade Crops: You can hand him high-quality crops to increase affection even more
- Animal Milk: Any grade of milk will do
What is Matthew’s Schedule?
Matthew has a specific schedule that he follows every day. Here is a list of all the timings that players can go through to catch him in the game:
- Players can come across him on Vesta’s farm or inside her farmhouse from 06:00 am to 01:00 pm.
- After which, he will roam around the farm till 04.00 pm.
- Matthew will then head for the Bluebird Cafe in the plaza and reaches at 06.00 pm.
- Once done, he will then head back to the farm after which he will be inside the Farmhouse till 09.30 pm.
List of Matthew’s Heart Events
Players will come across four Heart Events for Mathew in Story Of Seasons A Wonderful Life. Apart from the main events, you will first have to go through the Introduction Event where Vesta will introduce you to Matthew in the game. After which once you have enough hearts, you can move on to the first Heart event on the list and subsequently the other three. Here is a list of all Matthew’s Heart Events in the game
- First Heart Event: This requires Matthew to have 2 hearts
- Second Heart Event: This requires Matthew to have 4 hearts

Players can visit him at the farmhouse for the first event while the rest can be done by meeting him on the farm. Once he has all 8 hearts of affection you can then give him the Blue Feather outside the farm to trigger the proposal event.
