In Zelda Tears of The Kingdom, players can build stable wooden platforms with the Ultrahand ability. These platforms can be used to build basic structures like bridges or complex mechanisms like vehicles and planes. Since this ability is new to the series, players across the world are showing their creativity and building amazing things. So if you too want to start building, then make sure you learn how to build a basic platform.
How to Build Wooden Platform in Zelda ToTK
To build a Wooden Platform, you’ll need the Ultrahand Ability and a Stone Axe. You can unlock the Ultrahand by completing the first shrine i.e. the Ukouh Shrine as a part of the Closed Door quest. Once you do that, you can use this ability to lift and attach objects. The next thing you’ll need is Wood. To get wood, you must build a Stone Axe by fusing a One-Handed Weapon with a Stone. Once you have the Stone Axe, chop some trees to get wood logs.
With the Ultrahand ability, place the wooden logs next to each other and attach them to build a Wooden Platform. The length of your platform depends on the number of wooden logs you’re using.
How to Use Wooden Platforms in Tears of The Kingdom
The Ultrahand ability has many new uses that weren’t present in the previous iteration. Players can build new functioning mechanisms to cover the distance faster or simply wreak havoc on the enemies. It all comes down to your creativity.
One of the simplest mechanisms you can build with a wooden platform is a basic boat. All you have to do is attach a mast to the platform and it is ready to set sail. This way, you can cross water bodies without losing your stamina. And if you want to build a complex mechanism, then you can also try building a fully functioning tank with cannons.
